FF Atlanta supports up to 50 different languages such as Spanish, English, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Irish, Basque, Luxembourgian, and Icelandic in Latin and other scripts.

Bilak’s own comments about his typeface, FF Atlanta: “The seventies became almost an offensive term in design. It is a time we do not want anything to do with. When someone points out that a piece of graphic design has the seventies look, it is never a compliment. FF Atlanta uses a vocabulary of forms and shapes formally related to that era, then plays with and re-invents them in different ways. FF Atlanta is a parody on a period when style and form predominated over solutions. The font was supposed to be one typeface within a series, with an ironically critical view of the typographical past. I hope to design similar faces, representative of the sixties and the eighties. FF Atlanta is a family of three weights: Extra Light, Normal, Extra Bold. Extra Light and Extra Bold push the typeface in opposite way; it gets a natural, organic look.”
